This Family history story was sent in by Hellen Hope of Veracruz Mexico.

Hellen Hope`s Great Grandmother was Margaret Hellen or Ellen Billingham.

Who was born about 1876. She may have been born in the Derby Area.

She may have been an Actress, she married William Ernest Hope.

Their child was Albert Henry Hope born in Derby 1904 who was inscribed into a boarding school due to his parents work taking them to many parts of the country.

Albert`s Parents disappeared and never visited their child.

On leaving his Grammer school at the age of 13 years, he joined the merchant navy and travelled to New York, the reason for traveling to New York was because he thought that his parents were working there.

From New York Albert travelled and lived in many places, in Pachuca,Hidalgo a mining city in Mexico he got married to a Mexican lady they had two children one boy and one girl Margaret.

Albert died in 1972.

His Grandaughter is seeking information about her Great Grand mother Margaret Billingham born about 1876, it would be nice if we could find the family tree of Margaret Ellen Billingham to complete this Mexican Connection
